Organic matter= descomposin plant and animals materials found in top soil.
Soil composition= The ingredients that make up a sample soil.
Nutrients= essencial elements required by and organism to grow an reproduce.
Descompose= break down of plants, animal, etc. Into soil.
Weathering= breakup of rocks cause by chemical and mechanical processes.

Parent material= slight broken up bedrock, no plant root, very little organic matter.
Bedrock= hard rock.
Texture= how soil feels.
Grainy= large pieces, sand like
Silky= medium pieces, silt like.
Sticky=small piece, clay like.
Color= chocolate brown, reddish brown, yellowish brown, grayish brown.
Consistence= how easly soil breaks apart.
Loose= soil breaks apart when held.
Friable= breaks apart with small amount of pressure from one finger.
Firmm= breaks apart with a lot of pressure from two fingers.
